Yizumi | HPM

Yizumi-HPM Corporation; A Manufacturer of high-quality hybrid injection molding machinery from 60 to 3500 tons. HPM has been supplying injection molding machinery and support services to the plastic industry since 1931. In March of 2011, YIZUMI Precision Machinery Co., Ltd, acquired all HPM intellectual properties. Shortly after the purchase, HPM North America Corporation was set up in Ohio. In 2017 HPM North America changed its name to Yizumi-HPM Corporation.

Yizumi-HPM Corporation sells and manufactures injection molding machines based upon the HPM designs but utilizing the engineering, manufacturing and financial strengths of YIZUMI.

An extensive selection of new stock machines is in Iberia, Ohio.

A5-N Series High End Servo Injection Molding Machine

13 Models, 65-1125 ton. 12 injection units, shot sizes from 2.3 oz to 219 oz.

Combining our 50+ years experience in supplying proven 5-point toggles with 21st century servo pump technology, the A5 series will provide your shop floor with a machine that will run fast, be repeatable and save money. 50% to 80% of the energy used in traditional hydraulic injection molding machine can be saved. With the servo motor and high-efficiency pumps, discharge rate can be higher than 95%. The pump can keep high efficiency operation under high pressure at low and high flow rates

• The platen structure is designed with European style and fully optimized parameters and force distribution. High-rigidity materials and manufacturing processes for the base frame ensure the machine is strong, stable, and reliable.
• A highly rigid clamping unit results in less platen deformation, better parallelism, less deviation of stress on tie bars, more precise repeatability of clamping force.
• Uniform distribution of clamping force results in less platen deformation. Lower clamping force is applicable to produce the same part without flash, protecting platen and mold.
• Ejector guiding is extended, effectively avoiding ejector plate tilting and improving stability of ejection. Uniform distribution of ejector force provides precise ejection position with better ejection performance.
• The movable platen is equipped with front heavy-load sliding supports. The center of gravity of support moves forwards to the mold mounting surface, preventing the platen from tilting. Machine still operates steadily when it is loaded with heavy molds.
• KEBA controls across all Yizumi-HPM models - i2850 on A5-N.

FF-N Electric Injection Molding Machine

Eight Models, 110 – 510 ton. Ten injection units, shot sizes from 1.4 oz. to 85 oz. Integrated servo pump power pack for hydraulic cores, ejectors, and carriage movements.

• Faster injection & recovery speeds
• Faster clamp speeds
• Non-contact tie bars permit fast and stable mold opening and closing
• Negative angle toggle for smoother operation and better mold protection
• High accuracy digital sensors all positions & pressures
• Linear bearing guide supports for moving platen & injection unit
• Simultaneous motion, clamp/ejector/screw
• Hybrid design - integrated servo hydraulic power unit for cores / ejector / carriage functions
• Full electric - injection unit and clamp
• Clamp Parallelism:<0.03mm
• End Position Repeatability:≤0.03mm
• Tie bar strain balance: ≤3%
• Back pressure: ±1 bar
• SPI Ejector Pattern
• KEBA i2000 controller

DP-N Series Two Platen

11 models, 550-3500 ton. 12 injection unit sizes, shot sizes from 70 oz. to 2300 oz.

Combining our 25+ years experience in supplying proven large tonnage two platen machines with 21st century servo pump technology, the cost-effective two-platen DP series brings high productivity for injection molding production and a higher return on use value to customers through stable performance and high product quality.

• High-response servo valve control technology and ultrasonic displacement sensor are applied to mold closing and opening, with accurate position control and mold-open repeatability up to ±0.1mm.
• Clamping unit is highly rigid. There is no contact and frictional resistance between the movable platen and tie bars so that motion becomes faster. With the diagonally-positioned high-speed cylinders, four short -stroke high-pressure cylinders and synchronous locking nut mechanism, mold closing and closing and generation of clamping force happen in less time and dry cycle becomes very short, reducing cycle time and improving productive efficiency by 22%. Forged nuts are used vs. cast nuts, for greater strength and stability. Every tooth on the tie bar provides uniform stress, more durable.
• The high-performance Ecoservo drive and piston variable pump system can provide pressure and flow as needed and has merits of strong power and fast response, consuming 56% less energy than traditional drive systems.
• The moving platen is supported by extended rigid sliding shoes with the function of tilt adjustment and L-shape guide design, providing steady support and precise guidance for the mold.
• Fully-closed-loop control of the injection and hold (pressure and velocity) stages,
numerically-controlled proportional back pressure and part repeatability ≤ 3%.
• Measurement of stroke is performed by the ultrasonic displacement sensor which is resistant to interference and durable, with accuracy up to 0.001%/F.S.
• KEBA i2000 controller.

FE-N All Electric.

Five models, 65 – 290 ton. Ten injection units from .76 oz to 35 oz.

• For energy efficiency, fully servo control is applied to clamping, ejection, plasticizing and injection. Mold height adjustment and injection carriage are subject to vector variable frequency control to get more accurate torque output and lower energy consumption at the same time.
• Negative caster angle structure of the clamping unit makes the clamping motion smoother.
• There is no contact between tie bars and movable platen, which reduces the friction in mold closing and eliminates the grease stains on the tie bars.
• Low-friction linear guides that support the movable platen ensure the clamping unit works smoothly.
• Process requirements are fully met with more customized servo motors. More precise control of injection speed and position is achieved by high-accuracy encoders.
• Precise measurement of injection pressure ensures the correctness of pressure control.
